Results of the “Living Ruins” Competition Announced: Bilkent LAUD Among the Sponsors

On December 9, 2024, Bilkent University’s Department of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture (LAUD) participated as a sponsor in the “Living Ruins” competition, organized by TerraViva. Among the jury members were Dr. Kumru Arapgirlioğlu and Hatice Karaca, esteemed faculty members from Bilkent LAUD.

The competition evaluated creative projects focused on the conservation and refunctionalization of the abandoned structures in Kayaköy. The winning projects offered significant solutions for the sustainable and innovative preservation of this historical site.
