Success from Bilkent LAUD at the GYODER Competition: Ece Beyza Özdemir Wins Third Place

Bilkent LAUD student Ece Beyza Özdemir earned third place at the national GYODER "Designs That Touch the City" competition with her studio project on reuniting nature and urban space in Northern Cyprus.

The "Designs That Touch the City" student competition, organized by GYODER Genç and the GYODER Design Committee, was sponsored by ENVOY as the main sponsor and Kuzu Group as the special category sponsor. The application deadline for the competition was June 30, 2024.

Ece Beyza Özdemir, a student from Bilkent University's Department of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture (LAUD), was awarded third place in the competition with her second-year spring semester studio project, "Reuniting Nature and the City in Northern Cyprus." Her project stood out for its innovative approach to strengthening the relationship between urban spaces and nature.

The awards were presented at the 19th GYODER Real Estate Summit, held on November 6, 2024, at Rixos Tersane Istanbul. Congratulations to Ece Beyza Özdemir on this achievement, and we wish her continued success!
