Hacer Dülger

Hacer Dülger is an urban planner and PhD student in the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University. She holds an MSc in Spatial Planning from TU Dortmund University and a BSc in City and Regional Planning with a minor in Architecture from Middle East Technical University. She has contributed to academic publications on urban mobility, post-disaster urban resilience, and spatial planning. Her master's thesis, titled Building Social Resilience in Post Disaster Reconstruction Process: The Case of the 2023 Earthquakes in Turkey, examined social resilience and reconstruction processes following the 2023 earthquakes in Türkiye. Her current doctoral research investigates the relationship between the built environment, urban form, mobility, and human experience. Her research interests also include life-space, perceived safety, age-friendly environments and urban morphology.
