Nesli Naz Aksu

After receiving her dual degree in architecture and landscape architecture from Istanbul Technical University (2014), Aksu moved to New York City for her master's studies in Advanced Architectural Design at GSAPP, Columbia University. Following her studies, she worked as a teaching assistant for architectural design studios and international workshops at GSAPP. She received her PhD in Architecture from METU (2022). As an academic, she has instructed and coordinated architectural and landscape design studios at the Architecture Faculty of TOBB ETU and METU and currently continues to teach at METU and Bilkent University. Her research interests include emerging landscapes and their impulse with architecture. She is a partner at azaksu architects, where she coordinates and designs projects across various scales.
